Arch windows challenge

Arch windows are high on a homeowners list of wonderful details, but when it comes to how to apply a window treatment, they are often at a loss. Below are 2 ways they can be treated to frame the shape without losing the beauty of the window itself.

Here is a traditional Panel treatment on a metal rod. Notice that it is rod is hung well above the woodwork, highlighting the curve. Although these panels are stationary, they could easily have been operational.

Another way to treat this challenging window is with a scarf swag. Below is an example of a treatment that is hung from a 2" pole with medallions on the sides. Although it looks simple, the shape is built in, so that it hangs attractively.

These are just 2 possible options for these windows....more ideas later!
